What do oil tankers do?

Oil tankers are large containers built for transporting crude oil or petroleum products safely from oil rigs to ports and further to refineries.

What is a Delivery Order or DO?

Delivery Order or D/O is an order from the consignee or the owner of freight (or his/her agent), which authorizes the release of the cargo to a third party. The order will clearly state the delivery of the goods to a specific warehouse, a carrier, or to a specific individual. 

What is Liner Out Charge (LOC)?

LOC is the cost of discharging the cargo at POD. This charge is usually included in the freight. 

What is the difference between ICD, On Dock CY and Off Dock CY?

Inland Container Depot (ICD) is a port located in the inland areas of a country, away from the coastline. On Dock, CY is a Container Yard located within the port area whereas Off Dock CY is a container yard situated outside port premises but not inland.
